Year: 2011
Plot: A seminarian, who didn’t want to be a seminarian in the first place, experiences a crisis of faith. His mentor sends him to Rome to attend a course on exorcising demons. Soon sharp objects start flying and bullfrogs creep out from the crevices of the floor.
Pros: Anthony Hopkins is as always magnificent.
Cons: It tries to outsmart itself, and ends up being irritating like a teenager who reads to much Sartre. It is also one of the least scary horrors we’ve seen.
