Plot: A young, poor, intelligent, attractive, etc., etc., lady’s companion marries a somewhat older aristocrat, an officer in Her Majesty’s Army, who promptly returns to his regiment in India. His scheming relatives come to live with the freshly baked wife and things turn from romance to thriller.

Pros: Somewhat stirring romance wrapped in almost trilling thriller.
