Directed byDavid Seltzer

Written byDavid SeltzerSusan Isaacs (novel)

Year: 1992

Plot:  Half Jewish, half Irish secretary turned operative tries to sneak out the plans for V1 flying rocket out of wartime Berlin.

Pros: They don’t make movies like that any more, you know, with a lot of schmaltz.

Cons: Not even distantly related to the historical facts. Also – we’ve learned in the last two decades of watching movies that WWII was not a gentlemen’s agreement with the Good Germans.
