Plot: A hack writer of witchcraft novels descends upon a provincial town, where while hitting the bottom he discovers an inspiration for his new book. An abundance of handsome vampiric inspiration skulks in the woods.
Pros: It’s good to see Val Kilmer work again. Twice the man he was twenty years ago – it’s almost like you get two for the price of one mediocre flick.
Cons: Nonsensical at best, disjointed plot; stylistic choices bordering on pastiche. Who knows – maybe it is one.
