Vikingdom

VikingdomStarringDominic Purcell, Natassia Malthe, Ron Smoorenburg

Directed byYusry Abd Halim

Written byJames Coyne

Year: 2013

Plot: Thor, donning a particularly unflattering crimson wig and armed with a super-sized aluminum hammer, threatens the reign of the other gods, who would much rather hang out with the Village People. The other gods choose Dominic Purcell to defend their plushy Valhalla.

Pros: It has moments of pure Alejandro Jodorovsky-esque, what-the-fuck-am-I-watching weirdness. A wall of gold-body-painted naked chicks? You got it! The underworld looks like a cheap bordello? Sure!

Cons: This flick feels like it was written in a group therapy session for video game addicts, tutored by a five-year-old autistic tantrum-prone girl who likes big hair, and then made into a movie by the same crew.
